On October 22, 2025, PJSC LUKOIL was placed under US-imposed sanctions.

As a result, conducting business operations for Teboil has become extremely challenging, and the operating environment exceptional. Although there is a transition period until November 21, 2025, defined in the US OFAC sanctions, the current operating model of banks and restrictions on deliveries have significantly weakened Teboil's ability to fulfill all its obligations towards customers and partners.

PJSC LUKOIL announced on 27.10.2025 its intention to sell its assets located abroad.
